The Rabbanit Alfasi and Rabbi Yitzchack Kimmel

Rabbanit Alfasi, her son in law, Rabbi Yitzchak Kimmel and Rabbi Simcha Kook met in Beer Yaakov Yerusholaim. So apparently, not only did the Rabbanit hear of Rabbi Kimmel, she actually met with him and honored him. The occasion here was the Hachnossas Sefer Torah to honor Rabbi Eliyahu Alfasi ztzl.

Rabbi Yitzchak Kimmel collected the vast majority of funds needed not only to have this Sefer Torah written but also to pay for its beautiful cover and even paid for the Simcha.
